St. Mary's churchyard, Rotherhithe. Rotherhithe was the London docking port for the Mayflower. Christopher Jones, the captain and part owner of the Mayflower came from Rotherhithe; the Pilgrim Fathers actually joined the boat here. Captain Jones is buried in the churchyard, (1621) as is John Clarke, the first officer on the Mayflower.
